WOOD & STONE & WATER & AIR
Foreshore walk in autumn.

A walk along the strand on my birthday resulted in a small collection of pebbles and feathers - nothing new in that - but I chose to record this walk in a small book.

I’ve often felt that the landscape of the seashore and shifting channels is constantly in flux, and this has been a metaphor I’ve used in my poetry to capture the sense of vacancy, that as a poet, I’ve always felt there.
